Bonfire of the Inanities
Sprungeth
It hath, as far as I'm concerned, anyway. The last of Monday's ten inches will be gone by tomorrow. The driving range is open today and I shall be there. Sure, there's plenty to do around the house, I'm aware of that fact. However, it will be 60 at the driving range today and that's as good as an excuse as any to bail on the chores.
Okay, never mind
Naturally, after I have lauded the Snow King as my best friend this winter, yesterday's 4 inches of snow followed by ice and rain, rendered the Snow King useless as it sat on the porch untouched while I went old school on the grounds armed with only a snow shovel. Travesty!

We've come a long way in snow removal technology since my days of wielding the wooden handled, metal bladed snow shovels of old. Probably a safe bet that when I started shoveling as a youngster, the shovel weighed more than I did.

As if there is a choice. Woke up to another 4" on the ground after waking up to 4" yesterday morning. Before that I have really lost track. Certain household members were laughing at me in early December when I went out and bought 4' snow poles to mark off the driveway. The two poles closest to the street have about 2" showing. Ha, take that. How ya' like me na'.

Pitchers and catchers report February 14th. We're gaining one minute of daylight every day. Spring is on the way. But, there's probably about 4-6' more of snow separating us from spring. Thank God for the Snow King.

Now We’re Talking

Since I tout Sharepoint as the solution to everything in my workplace, I might as well put up or shut up and leverage Sharepoint features for the vast empire of my personal site. Now that the site is set up, and I can actually start building it via the Sharepoint user interface, the inevitable, "uh, now what?" moment has arrived.
